Westminster’s Christian service programs is working with local non-profits to provide planned financial support and in-person food deliveries to designated organizations like City Mission Society, Lexington Food Pantry, Rosie’s Place, The Women’s Lunch Place, and Sustainable Harvest International. Westminster also provide responses to urgent needs, a consistent flow of much needed goods and access to a diversely talented team of volunteers.

A gift to this fund makes possible a well-designed progressive Christian education to children of all ages from kindergarten to the fifth-grade. It also funds the development of a strong spiritual foundation for older youth including the Junior Youth Organization, confirmation classes, Our Whole Lives series and the High School Youth Group.
Music is the core of worship at Westminster Church. Incredible inspirational music can touch the soul of those present like nothing else. It can reveal the presence of the Holy among us and inspire us to be our best selves. Westminster UCC worships in an architecturally significant historic building that has facilitated life-changing worship and life-giving ministry programs in Lexington and beyond for more than 120 years. It can be quite expensive to ensure any historic building continues to function effectively in a contemporary world. A gift to this fund pays for needed repairs and upgrades to the physical space and supporting technology to continue the great work of this congregation in the community.
Westminster Church has developed two partnerships in Puerto Rico in response to the humanitarian crisis on the island. Through these partnerships we are able help thousands of people in need of support to survive.
Westminster Church has been a primary mission partner with City Mission Society for more than 100 years. The City Mission Society, is a social justice agency founded in 1816 by the congregations of Old South Church and Park Street Church with a mission to serve the urban poor of metropolitan Boston, Massachusetts. The organization works with urban youth, families, congregations, and prison populations.
Westminster Church has had a strategic partnership with Andover Newton for more than 50 years. Andover Newton’s mission has been to educate learned clergy, particularly those who serve in the family of locally-governed, “small c” congregational traditions, such as the United Church of Christ and the American Baptist Churches (USA). Westminster Church has served as the church home for more than 60 student ministers from Andover Newton over many decades.
